Im back!!! :)
Now this post has been inspired by a couple of people on YouTube that have similar experiences with me revolving around this topic, I will introduce these two fantastic individuals and their channels later in the post so please subscribe, I have!
Life is simply too short... exactly it is .. it´s too short not to take chances or to do what you love. It doesn't matter if it´s professionally or in your personal life. I have been blessed in my life with a certain degree of courageous insanity and by this I mean that I will gladly stand on the ledge, close my eyes and take a leap of fate if I feel like the choices I have made does not make me happy. You might call me selfish and that´s fine by me but the way I live and think is that if I am unhappy I will make the people around me eventually unhappy as well when my own inner frustration would start spreading like a cancer so you have to be a bit "selfish" too or rather you have to be a bit more confident in your own choices and listen to yourself.
The one´s reading this post that actually know me personally definitely know that I've done my share of leaping so to speak. I´ve taken massive leaps of faith professionally to get to where I am now and what I do currently makes me very happy (got promoted in the beginning of 2016 to Country Trade Operations Manager) If I wouldn't be professionally happy, that would reflect to all areas of my life socially and through my behavior, see in my opinion people have a built in tendency to sabotage their own lives when they are stuck in a situation that makes their own inner life spiral into a turmoil. I´ve seen this happen to people around me and I have experienced it myself.
To be scared of change is actually a good thing and can grow you and your personality but whatever you do with don't let it paralyze you. It´s a bit like having stage fright in my opinion, I still have that every time I am about to speak to a large audience, I get it when I hold trainings for large audiences and that feels like I think what I am about to do is important to me, which it is.
If you let the fear paralyze you and stop you from doing what you feel is important to you and makes you happy that is like denying yourself from you and from the rest of the world as well. If you embrace what you are and where you want your life to be headed and what actually makes you happy and concentrate on that instead of the fear you are also giving the best of yourself on the outside. The gift of happiness has an impact on the people around you if you just decide to grant the gift to yourself first.
Don´t be afraid of yourself or your needs, embrace it all instead and decide to make yourself happy before you try to make others happy.
so, the channels. I have "accidentally" "found" these two personalities and have grown a massive respect for both of them, they do what they love and you definitely can see that as in my opinion these two people radiate the wonderful confidence of being happy with their own choices professionally. I have enjoyed their videos and had a WOW!! effect when I watch these two on Youtube doing what they love, true professionals. They have both inspired me as well and you need that every now and then to keep you going and reaching for your own stars.
